Our ancestors were primitive people, living in a primitive time. Their very survival depended on having a successful hunt and a bountiful crop. They celebrated the cycles and rhythms of nature and they lived by honoring the great Wheel of the Year.
The Wheel of the Year celebrates the cycle of growth, death and rebirth. In the time of our ancestors, it was very literal and all about the growth, death and rebirth of the plants and trees, which they needed for their survival. In our modern times, our physical survival might not be as closely tied to this sacred cycle, but that doesn't mean the wheel isn't as important to us.

We have strayed so far out of alignment with the natural cycles of the Wheel that we often find ourselves over-committed, overwhelmed and under-joyed with our lives. My approach to working with the Wheel is to honor each turn, walking what I call the Sacred Spiral Journey™. I purposefully tap into the energies of the current season to support my own self-growth and healing. Working with this ancient cycle has helped me to live a more balanced, blissful, healthy and abundant life and I wish the same for you.
